About: Your Wedding Hair & Beauty Experience
Emma and Andys Wedding
What To Expect On your Wedding Day
After the trial we will have already agreed a time for me to arrive on the day of the wedding based on how long your hair and make up will take to complete. Your hair and make up will then be finished to a very high standard and in plenty of time to ensure you have time to relax and enjoy your morning. If you are having your hair put up on the day please ensure you wash you hair the day before, not on the morning of the wedding. All hair bands / bobby pins and products will be provided. If any hair padding, bun rings etc are needed these will be charged for and agreed at the trial.
What to expect at the trial
Generally I recommend trials to be around 6-8 weeks before your wedding day as this is as close as possible to what you hair will be like on the day. This helps us to establish what your hair 'will and won't ' be able to do at its current length and thickness. They usually last around 2 hours, however there is no time limit and I ensure we have as much time as necessary to find your perfect look.
During the trial we will be able to look at pictures and ideas you have about the hair style you would like, to establish what you do and don't like, as well as try out different looks until you find what you are happiest with. We will also have the opportunity to try out my range of make up and match up foundation colours and test eye and lips colours etc so when it comes to the big day everything is ready to be applied it remains a stress free, enjoyable experience.
Things to have ready for your trial
If possible, please have anything you would like to have in your hair on the day ready to try out with your chosen hairstyle, e.g Tiara, comb, veil etc. If you have purchased an accessory from me I will ensure this is brought along on the day of the trial.
Keep hold of any pictures you come across that you like, even if you only like a part of it. They are great in helping to explain certain styles and give ideas to find the complete look.
I currently work within the Nottinghamshire / Derbyshire area (within 15 miles from my home address, anything above this may incur a small travel charge) either at the wedding venue / hotel or your home. I can, on request, work within other areas but these will incur travel expense costs (agreed prior to booking).
